Terms & Conditions

Effective July 7, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "passenger") and Living Laurel Limo LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our chauffeured ground transportation services, website, and related bookings (collectively, the "Services"). By requesting a quote, submitting a reservation, or riding with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Reservations, Authorization Holds & Acceptance

All reservations are treated as offers subject to acceptance by the Company. When you submit a reservation, we place a pre-authorization hold on your payment method for the quoted fare (including any authorized gratuity). Your card is not chargeduntil a Company representative reviews and expressly accepts the reservation. If the reservation is declined, the authorization hold is released; the timing of that release depends on your card issuer and is outside our control (typically 1–5 business days).

Quoted fares are estimates based on the information you provide (route, timing, passengers, luggage, requested amenities). Material changes to the trip (additional stops, extended wait time, route deviations, additional passengers or luggage beyond vehicle capacity, or extra hours) may increase the final fare and will be charged to the payment method on file.

3. Cancellation Policy & Late-Cancellation Fees

We hold vehicle and chauffeur time exclusively for confirmed reservations, which means late cancellations directly displace other clients and result in lost operational revenue. By accepting these Terms at booking, you agree to the following schedule of cancellation charges, which are a good-faith pre-estimate of the Company's reasonable costs and losses, are not a penalty, and are lawful liquidated damages under applicable law:

  • More than 24 hours before pickup: full refund; no charge.
  • Between 12 and 24 hours before pickup: up to 50% of the quoted fare may be retained.
  • Less than 12 hours before pickup: up to 100% of the quoted fare (plus any authorized gratuity) is due and may be charged in full.
  • No-show: if the passenger fails to appear at the pickup location within 20 minutes of the scheduled time and cannot be reached, the reservation is treated as a no-show and 100% of the quoted fare is due.
  • En-route cancellations: if the chauffeur has already been dispatched and is en route to the pickup point, a minimum charge equal to the greater of $75 or 25% of the fare applies, in addition to any other cancellation charge above.

Assessment and collection. Where a late-cancellation fee applies and the reservation charge was not already captured, the Company may either (a) capture the previously authorized amount up to the fee owed, or (b) issue a separate charge or payment request to the payment method on file or to your email address on record. You expressly authorize the Company to charge your payment method for any cancellation, late-cancellation, no-show, cleaning, damage, or additional-service fee properly assessed under these Terms.

Chargeback waiver. You agree not to dispute charges properly assessed under this Section as unauthorized. If a chargeback is filed for a fee that we can document as owed under these Terms, you agree to reimburse us for reasonable costs of responding to the dispute.

4. Refunds

Refunds where owed are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days after the refund is initiated, depending on your bank. Gratuities are refundable in the same proportion as the underlying fare unless the trip was actually performed.

5. Damage, Cleaning & Additional Fees

The passenger of record is financially responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by any member of the traveling party. In addition to any repair costs actually incurred, the following minimum recovery fees apply and are payable to the card on file: sickness/biohazard cleanup $350; interior smoking (including vapes) $250; spills requiring detailing $150; loss of vehicle use during repair, at the daily fleet rate. These amounts are a reasonable estimate of anticipated cleaning, downtime, and reconditioning costs and are not a penalty.

6. Passenger Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

The chauffeur is in control of the vehicle at all times and may refuse or terminate service, without refund, for behavior that is unlawful, unsafe, threatening, abusive, or that violates federal, state, or local law — including but not limited to intoxication that endangers the passenger or others, possession of illegal substances, or refusal to comply with seatbelt or occupancy limits. Consumption of alcohol in the vehicle is permitted only where lawful and only by adults 21+; open containers involving minors are strictly prohibited.

7. Delays, Force Majeure & Limitation of Liability

While we make every effort to be on time, we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical failure, acts of God, civil disturbance, government action, or errors in flight or event information supplied by the Client. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC RESERVATION AT ISSUE, AND THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING MISSED FLIGHTS, LOST PROFITS, OR LOST OPPORTUNITY.

8. Payment, Taxes & Gratuity

Fares are quoted in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes and airport, tolls, and parking fees unless otherwise stated. Optional gratuity is offered at checkout and, if elected, is charged together with the fare and paid in full to the chauffeur. You represent that any payment method you provide is yours to use and has sufficient funds or available credit.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with reservations is handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell customer data. Payment information is processed by Stripe, Inc.; the Company does not store full card numbers.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the most recent revision. Reservations submitted after the Effective date are governed by the then-current Terms.
